Preparing For Your Installation

To ensure your installation goes smoothly, please review the checklist below to help prepare you for the day of install.

  • Our scheduling department will be notifying you to confirm your installation date.
  • All Service Floor Covering’s installations occur between 8 am and 6 pm. You will be given a 3 hour window for your installers arrival.
  • Designate a responsible party to be present during the installation process. This party should have product information and color selection information and know where each product will be installed. Your representative will also be asked to complete a post installation walk through.
  • If you have pets, please provide a safe location away from the installation area(s) during the installation process.
  • All furniture and objects should be removed from the area(s) unless you chose to have the installers move furniture. Our installers will not be responsible for any packing or unpacking.
  • Knick-knacks, breakables, pictures etc. should be moved prior to the installers arriving. This includes items in hallways etc. that will be necessary to access the installation area.
  • All areas of installation will be swept upon completion. There is typically dust remaining after installation please be prepared for this. (Ex: Remove draperies etc that you do not wish to be affected by the installation debris.)
