Durability is a feature characteristic of hardwood floors.
Not only are they hard-wearing, especially when you select the proper species
type, but they can be refinished. Once they start showing signs of wear and
tear, this process can be carried out, stripping away layers and years of
abuse. This is a great time to change stain colors if you prefer, and you can
easily ask for another finish type. If you’ve found that a high gloss finish
isn’t working, you can go with something that better hides scuffs and scratches
such as wire-brushed or vintage.
